To advance the Sikh religion in accordance with the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh holy book) and for the furtherance of the objectives:


  1. To arrange regular congregations of the Sadh Sangat (people who have faith in Sikhism) to worship Akal Purkh (the immortal one) in the guru's way


  1. To celebrate 'gurpurabs' (anniversaries of the Sikh religion) and other Sikh festivals.


  1. To invite speakers, preachers and other learned persons from other parts of the country to give lectures on Sikh history and to explain the preaching’s of the ten gurus and their mission.


  1. To distribute books and other religious literature which enlighten people about the Sikh religion.


  1. To encourage people to worship the Akal Purkh in accordance with the Guru Granth sahib, to attend Gurdwara regularly and to keep faith only in Sikhism.


  1. To provide facilities for teaching the Punjabi language to Sikh children.


  1. To provide facilities for performing marriages and other rites according to Sikh traditions in accordance with the laws of England.


  1. To arrange name giving ceremonies for new born babies of Sikh families


  1. To carry on any other activities which may further or advance the Sikh religion.
